Dispatcher 120 Retires After 37 Years
Thanks to Jack Dewan and Steve Solomonson for the photos. December 28, 2003, was a sad day for me. One of the people whom I admired while growing up was leaving the job. Warren Fuchs will always be one of the best dispatchers this Department has ever seen. He could rattle off alarm assignments without the aid of the CADS and knew every street in the borough. His expertise and professionalism sets the mark that those who came after him (myself included before I became supervisor) try to reach. Happy retirement, Warren. We will miss having you around all of the time.
